In this weekly evening course you will learn over 30 techniques which form the building blocks of knowledge necessary to let your creativity shine on the paper.
=0D=0A=I use a step by step process where I explain what I am doing while you watch, then I watch you follow that step answering questions as necessary. Because it is an “I do, you do” process we have had great success in this demanding medium.
=0D=0A=The first two weeks are all exercises which gets you putting brush to paper, without the anxiety of producing a piece of art. There will be some color mixing and composition involved as well. Since I have hand out’s almost every week, you end up with a ‘text book of instruction’ to refer to in future. A supply list is available here, but please keep the receipts and don’t open anything until the first night. I find that often students have some difficulty making the best choices. I will have brushes available for sale the first week if you prefer not to have to shop for yourself. I will also provide paints the first 2 weeks as you gather together what you will need for your own use. In week one we will be going over your supplies you bring.
