<p>Join Central Westcoast Forest Society Saturday April 23rd from 11am to 12pm for a guided interpretive walk through A Walk in the Forest Trail!</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The walk will take you along the scenic trail through both old-growth and second-growth forests. Learn what makes these forests types different, tree and shrub identification, salmon life cycle, and CWFS restoration efforts.&nbsp;</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The Ah'ta'apq Creek Restoration Project will be highlighted on this walk. Ah'ta'apq Creek is located in Hot Springs Cove in Hesquiaht. Learn about CWFS's on-going restoration efforts along Ah'ta'apq Creek.&nbsp;</p>=0D=0A=
<p>A Walk in the Forest trailhead is located 1k from the junction on the Pacific Rim Highway (Highway 4). On your left if coming from Tofino or&nbsp;Ucluelet. On your right if coming from Port Alberni. Located outside Pacific Rim National Park, this trail is free to use and has free parking.&nbsp;</p>=0D=0A=
<p>This interpretive walk is by donation to Central Westcoast Forest Society.&nbsp;</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Please make sure to wear weather appropriate clothing as this guided walk will happen in rain or shine.&nbsp;</p>=0D=0A=
