This year’s IOAD event in Nanaimo is called A Day to Remember.
=0D=0A=

Join us for an afternoon of music, activities, snacks and story-sharing in memory of those who have died or suffered permanent injury due to drug overdose.
=0D=0A=

Everyone in the city is invited to this family-oriented gathering, aimed at building a kinder, more compassionate community. Meet family and friends of lost loved ones, service providers, local leaders, and fellow citizens who recognize that we must all pull together to address one of the world’s most urgent public health crises.
=0D=0A=

Interested in evening IOAD events? Visit the Flags of Hope display at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, set up since mid-August, and share snacks and stories with members of Moms Stop the Harm. (For a sneak peek, check it out on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/flagsofhope/). A candlelight vigil will take place at dusk.
=0D=0A=
