The event takes place the second Sunday in June, rain or shine, to raise awareness and funds for the Mid Vancouver Island Habitat Enhancement Society (MVIHES).<br /><br />MVIHES is committed to the restoration of wild Pacific salmon in mid Vancouver Island watersheds through habitat restoration and community engagement.</p>
