Welcome to the 8th annual Sidney Anglers Association Salmon Derby.
=0D=0A=Over the past 7 years that the SAA has been hosting the derby the club has raised close to $140,000, all of which has been committed to salmon enhancement and restoration projects on southern Vancouver Island. We want to continue that success and make the 2018 Derby a profitable one as well as an experience enjoyable for all.
=0D=0A=250 entry tickets are available at $150 per ticket offering $30,000 in cash and merchandise prizes. Tickets can be purchased online or at one of the following locations: Home Hardware in Sidney, Island Outfitters or Trotac Marine in Victoria or at Alpine Marine in Westshore. Extra dinner tickets for Friday and Saturday will also be available online or at the door with a $5 surcharge on a cash only basis.
=0D=0A=One major change for this year is the weigh-in station has been moved from Port Sidney Marina to the gas dock at North Saanich Marina at 1949 Marina Way, North Saanich, BC
=0D=0A=If not already sold out, ticket sales will end on Thursday, May 3rd at midnight for on-line
sales and at the end of business day for all ticket sale locations except Home Hardware in Sidney which will continue to sell tickets until 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 4th. Tickets will also be available in the afternoon on Friday, May 4th during registration.
