Every year hundreds of people participate in the festival. Over 25 of the finest documentaries from around the world cover topics including: arts, music, food security, environmental issues, labour, social justice, and human rights. <p><strong>FILM VENUES</strong><br />Sid Williams Theatre (SID)<br />Upper Native Sons Hall (UNS)<br />Lower Native Sons Hall (LNS)<br />Florence Filberg Centre (FFR)<br /><br />PLEASE NOTE: ALL VENUES ARE FESTIVAL SEATING.<br />Seating may be limited due to venue size. Please arrive early to ensure seating, first come first served.<br /><br /><strong>TICKET INFO</strong><br /><br />WEEKEND PASS<br />Valid for the entire festival and all venues.<br /><br />FRIDAY (OPENING) NIGHT &ndash; Begins at 7:30 pm<br />Valid for the Sid Williams Theatre.<br />Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, no intermission.<br />Classification: Parental Guidance, with advisory for coarse and sexual language, scenes of animal slaughter<br /><br />SATURDAY ALL DAY (including closing film)<br />Valid at all venues.<br />Daytime films run 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.<br />Closing night film starts at 8:00 pm.<br /><br />SATURDAY (CLOSING) NIGHT &ndash; Begins at 8:00 pm<br />Valid for the Sid Williams Theatre.<br />Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, no intermission.<br /><strong>&nbsp;</strong><br /><strong>FAMILY PROGRAM</strong><br />Runs Saturday afternoon from 1:15 pm &ndash; 2:45 pm in the Lower Sid Williams Theatre (fountain plaza level). FREE for children 12 years and under (accompanied by an adult).<br /><br />The theme is &ldquo;Trees and Forests&rdquo;, with an assortment of short films (each between 3 to 14 minutes in length) and some activities. The films are appropriate for those 6 to 12 years old, but will be enjoyed by all.<br /><br />The World Community Development Education Society (World Community) is a community of advocates working to foster a greater awareness of the social, economic and environmental consequences of human activity at both the local and global levels.<br /><br /><em>There may be a limited amount of low income tickets.</em><br /><em>Lost or stolen wristbands may not be able to be replaced.</em></p>
