Come on out for a fun 60k cyclocross ride this April 4th!  The route will be going out around Green Mountain, and it is not a testosterone hammer time ride, it will be at a social talking pace…an intro to backroad riding is a good description. Bill McMillan and his loyal band of riders have graciously offered to guide us on this loop.

It’s advised you ride a cross bike with as fat a tires as possible, or a hardtail with the skinniest tires you have. This is an excellent opportunity to go outside of your comfort zone and explore some more of the mid island backcountry!

Start time is 9am, at the Jump Main kayak put in parking lot (logging road 2km south of Nanaimo Lakes Gate at the end of the pavement), drive down the logging road 700m and there is parking near the river.
