You can't reach for anything new...
...if your hands are full of yesterday's junk. ~Nancy Levin
The beginning of a new year is the perfect time for making space, isn't it? We need space to move, space to learn and space to grow. But we only have only so much room.
Where will you be finding your extra space this year?
If we want to make space in our minds for new ideas, we'll need to shed old patterns of thinking. To make space in our bodies, we'll need to jettison habits that aren't serving us anymore. And to make space in our hearts, we'll need to release the kind of bitterness that lets nothing else in. We'll also need to let go of what isn't working any longer to make way for inspiration.
In the meantime, I'm resolving to make space in my pants after a month of holiday indulgences. And I may need to make a little space in my closet as well...for a new pair of pants.
