Unique Fundraising Opportunity
We are currently producing a 2008 printed calendar of Vancouver Island events to be used as a fundraising opportunity for non-profit and community groups.
The project is called ‘365 days on Vancouver Island’ and will feature a different event happening somewhere on the island everyday. Available in the months prior to Christmas, this makes a uniquely local gift idea.
Groups who would like to sell this calendar will have them from Mid October until the end of the year to raise money for their organization.
Here is how it works:
- Your Organization buys the calendars from HarbourLiving.ca at a cost of $10 each (including gst)
- Members of your group then sell the calendars to family members, coworkers and friends for the suggested price of $15 each.
The Math is Simple:20 members x 20 calendars x $5/calendar = $2000
With more members and a little ambition, you could drastically reduce the cost of registrations, travel and more.
This fall, get your team / class / group or club working on a project to meet your financial goals and provide friends/family/co-workers or just about anyone with something unique to Vancouver Island. Help them get their Christmas shopping done in October while you pay your registrations.
