Moksha Yoga Nanaimo presents Yoga for Athletes with run coach and yoga instructor Alice Toyonaga. Geared to runners and endurance athletes – all levels and experience welcome.

The session will include workshop discussion and a 75-minute class with strengthening exercises. Topics, tips, and techniques covered will include:

• Integrating yoga to be a stronger athlete
• Improving flexibility and mobility
• Relieving pain and aiding in recovery
• Working on strength, balance and posture
• Building endurance through breathwork and mental focus

This workshop will be held at our NEW Island Optimal Performance Centre
(1111 Dufferin Cres) on Sunday January 12th, 2-4pm. Cost is $30, $25 for auto-renew members of Moksha Yoga Nanaimo.
