Established in 1892, The Queen's Hotel has seen many face lifts and many characters in it's more than one hundred year existence. Over the past twenty years, the Queen's has become known as a landmark for local, national and international quality acts in all genres of music and entertainment.
The local Nanaimo scene has played a large part in the development of the room, with entertainers that include David Gogo, Wunderbread, Rubbersoul, Camille Miller, Teri Puckett, Michael Patrick, etc...
These local acts have laid a foundation that has engaged the audiences of Nanaimo and opened the door for touring acts from around the world.
