Spring Fashion Show & English High Tea

A great way to spend an afternoon - relax, sip a cup of tea, eat delicious sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, and pastries, while K.C's Boutique model their new fashions. This is a fundraiser by Altrusa International and all proceeds will go towards helping women, children and literacy here in Nanaimo.
Altrusa International, Inc. is a volunteer organization with clubs in almost 20 countries around the world. The club has been part of the Nanaimo community since 1953, helping women and children, and improving literacy. Altrusans play a leading role in improving Nanaimo, with aid for women's shelters - including making and filling care bags; emergency funds for elementary schools; library book delivery service for shut-ins, and many other projects. Altrusans may come from different professions and backgrounds, but they have one thing in common -- the desire to help others.
