Spinnakers 2nd Biannual Cask Festival

The festival features brews from all over the province of British Columbia, such as Whistler Brewhouse and local favourites including Driftwood Brewing. Brewers themselves will be on hand to pour their best offerings and answer any brew related questions that might arise. Visitors can taste any one of 18 casks at the event along with many special treats not found anywhere else.
Tickets to the event are $40 and include entry into the pub, the first 3 beers ($1 per beer after that) and a Spinnakers tasting glass to keep, and appetizers. Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub is Canada’s oldest licensed brewpub and a pioneer of the North American micro-brewing renaissance. Renowned for their hand-crafted beer, abilities in combining regional cuisine with ales and lagers and the only locally produced sparkling mineral water, O de Vie, Spinnakers is also an ardent support of Vancouver Island’s farmers something which is reflected in their menu featuring almost 100% local product.
