Robert Bateman's Kids Get to Know Nature Camp

Children aged 6 to 12 are invited to Rathtrevor Provincial Park to get to know their wild neighbours in the great outdoors and learn to express their understanding of the natural world through games, art, photography, woodwork and journals.
Each day a different topic will be highlighted:
* Brant & Other Marine Animals
* Layers of Life in the Intertidal Zone
* Adaptation & Biodiversity
* How People Are Part of Nature
* Environmental Games & Hot Dog Roast
The 5-day program includes walks, games and hands on activities and creating art work about the things they learn. Art will be featured at the Oceanside Community Art Gallery for the month of April.
Each day will include time outdoors so wet weather gear and a change of clothing are a must. Children should wear comfortable shoes/boots and be prepared for wet and muddy conditions. Dress warmly in layers to be ready for changing weather.
Pre-register $20 each session or $90 for 5 sessions
Children are welcome to attend one day or the whole week.
