Parksville Lions International Kite Festival

Come on down to the Parksville Community Park from 9 am to 5 pm to take part in this year's kite festival!
There will be food concessions, various vendors, kite building tent for beginners, kite demonstrations, banner displays, and the ever popular Teddy Bear Drop.
The Teddy Bear drop will be at 2pm, both days (20 bears each day) thanks to BMO and the Parksville Fire Department. Running the Bols is a race between teams of kids pulling a kite/parachute. BCKA Kite Kits cost $4 with free instruction/help building the kite, at the Lions tent.
Come early and stay late! The object is to have fun!
