New Year's Day Levee

The Honourable Steven Point, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, opens the doors to Government House on January 1st for the annual New Year’s Day Levée. Their Honours greet the public and visitors have an opportunity to enjoy light refreshments and the music of Victoria’s Naden Band and the Canadian Scottish Regiment Pipes and Drums. His Honour delivers his remarks at 11:30am and guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid a long line-up.
Food contributions to support local food banks are encouraged and accepted at the door upon entrance to the Levée.
