This is it, your last opportunity to buy beautiful, handcrafted gifts and goodies for everyone on your Christmas list. This exciting craft fair will hit the Florence Filberg Centre on December 4th and 5th upstairs in the Conference Hall.

The organizers have saved the best for last. This fair is packed with crafters and artists anxious to provide quality, handmade gifts and goodies for all those spontaneous shoppers looking for those special hard-to-find items.

This 6th annual fair is certain to have something for everyone. For that nature-lover on your list, be sure to check out the fine selection of Comox Valley scenery photographed by award winning photographers with their mounted photographs, cards and calendars. There will be artwork on both fabric and canvas. The show will feature a range of different beauty and bath products, soaps, lotions and organic essential oils, and bath minerals. And whether you are shopping for children or an avid toy collector, look forward to the fair’s selection of novelty toy art, including furry teddy bears and Santas trimmed with fur perfect for the mantel or on a collector’s shelf. Or, how about rich, spirit -soaked Christmas cakes.

We all know that you can never go wrong with something practical, and so, the fair will feature a wide range of handcrafted apparel and home décor. Check out the fleece, felted, hand knitted and faux fur hats, scarves, purses, jackets and vests, baby items, , hand-knit clothing and sweaters and woven table runners. Also highlighted will be a beautiful selection of handcrafted jewellery, including exquisite polished opals and silver, sterling silver jewellery, and intricate beaded jewellery.

For those looking for that special touch for the home, there will be an eclectic selection of table runners and placemats, tea cosies, quilted items, beeswax candles, and an assortment of painted Christmas tree ornaments, wooden carvings, modular origami, stained glass, and gifts for your cat and doggie friends.

With Christmas just around the corner, you are sure to get into the spirit while perusing the selection of assorted Christmas gifts. Celebrate the beginning of the holidays by shopping in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Enjoy the Christmas music, the aroma of holiday goodies, and feel free to take a break and indulge with refreshments from the Evergreen Seniors Lounge concession downstairs.

Doors upstairs to the Conference Room open at 10am and the Fair runs until 4pm both days. Admission includes a chance to win daily prizes. There will be an ATM machine on site in the upper lobby. The Florence Filberg Centre is wheelchair accessible and there is free parking.
