MARK YOUR CALENDAR! ORGANWORX CONCERTS ARE COMING SOON TO KNOX! We, at Knox, are proud to announce the upcoming 3-Part OrganWorx Concert Series with Knox’s music leader and celebrated organist, Jenny Vincent and some very special guests.

On Sunday, September 24, Jenny will join Bob McDonald of CBC’s Quirks and Quarks to perform what we are calling a COSMIC ODYSSEY - a sonic spectacular of great organ music and conversation against a backdrop of spectacular space imagery.

On January 14, 2018 Jenny will be joined by Janelle Nadeau on the Harp. Enjoy Janelle's ethereal style as she and Jenny combine their talents to present a spellbinding, musical concert for our enjoyment.

On May 27, 2018, Dr. Elroy Friesen, will conduct a newly formed choral group called the Schooner Cove Singers. This charming choir will perform a varied concert featuring Durfle's Requiem, in concert, with Jenny on the organ.

Tickets can be purchased at a special Series Subscription Rate of $75 and are available at Knox United Church, Parksville and the Mulberry Bush Book Stores in Parksville and Qualicum Beach.

These concerts will be held at Knox United Church, 345 Pym Street, Parksville, at 2 pm. Recently, Knox purchased a new, Rodgers 599 Artist Model Digital Organ. We believe that the Oceanside Community and neighbouring areas will benefit greatly by the many fine musical performers it will attract to our part of Vancouver Island.

These concerts will be a fun and fascinating way to share our facility with Oceanside, as we all help to raise the funds necessary to complete the purchase of this impressive instrument.
