Kevin Ngo, returns to Campbell River to present a solo piano concert Friday March 19. Ngo is currently completing his Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance at University of Victoria. In addition to studying, Ngo also teaches piano and accompanies VIVA Choir. A student of May-Ling Kwok, Ngo is the winner of the 2009 Madeleine Till Scholarship as well as the 2009 Johann Strauss Foundation Scholarship for Advanced Study in Music in Austria. As a result of the latter award, Ngo was able to study in Austria during the summer of 2009. Ngo has also won numerous awards through regional festivals on the Island in Courtenay, Nanaimo and Victoria.
Tickets are available in Campbell River from the Music Plant, the Visitor Information Centre as well as at the door. Tickets available in Courtenay from Laughing Oyster and in Comox from Videos N More.
