Hard pressed Cheese/Panir Course

10:30 AM to 2:30 PM
This course extends basic cheese making and explores making a hard, pressed cheese as well as a fresh Indian Panir. Students have their choice of making colby, gruyere, jarlsburg, asiago, havarti or gouda. Students will take home ingredients and instructions to make their own at home. Lunch will be a Saag Panir using the Panir made in class.
Lunch and wine paired to cheeses made in class is included.
Complimentary pick up and drop off from Gabriola ferry is available for those coming from Vancouver Island or the Mainland. 72 hour advanced registration is necessary to prepare, please phone or email to register. Deposit is required upon registration.
