Sharon Stone describes her show as a representation "of my love of nature, particularly that of water and sky. It has often been the subject of my paintings. I grew up with a sense of the sea, having had a father and a brother in the Navy, and a grandfather who fished for a living. No matter where I lived, I always felt most at home when by the sea. Its sheer power, scale, and tremendous beauty has stayed with me most of my life. Even when you don’t live near the sea, there is always sky. If you want entertainment, just watch it – ever changing, ever engaging, ever magnificent. I hope these paintings bring as much joy to you as nature does to me."
