Friday, September 22nd, 2017
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The purpose of this evening is for a transformational healing of the world through your own personal transformation. The core of the evening is a sacred Indian ritual, called a ‘puja’ (a Sanskrit acronym for which means ‘a sacred ceremony for summoning or awakening Divinity’).

The evening starts with the creation of a sacred space through mantra-mystical combinations of sounds that create an effect on the physical world, and Aarthi-the calling of divine light. The Indian Goddess Durga is invoked, who protects mankind from evil and misery by destroying evil forces such as selfishness, jealousy, prejudice, hatred, anger, and ego. As well, the holy mountain Aruanchala (a sacred mountain in India) will be invoked), which represents the pure light of the true self.

This will be followed by a meditation where we go into the Heart of Hearts (the spiritual heart) to discover that which we truly need to let go of.

Every participant will have the opportunity to surrender that to Goddess Durga, Ganesh (the remover of ignorance and obstacles, and the holy mountain Arunachala. A flower is presented as an offering (which represents our purity and true self). The combination of these three forces (all which are symbols that reflect our Divine aspects) create the space for miracles.

This is an evening of surrendering anything that is keeping us from fully living our destiny, and opens us to the purity of our true selves. Invite a friend who needs energy, a healing, or a shift in their lives. They will thank you for it.

Please bring an flower as an offering at the ceremony.

Donation: $20 or more ($10 for the financially challenged)

After expenses, all proceeds go to the Om Shanti Widows of India and the India School Fund*

Important timing considerations: Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for meditation and pre-program, Puja will start at 7:00 PM (please be on time). The puja goes to 9:00PM.
