Cooking Class: Knife Skills

Come and learn to slice and dice with our Cook Culture chef. A good knife is a primary tool for a functional and effective approach to food preparation. Feeling safe working with your primary tool, in the kitchen, is important to developing your overall comfort in the kitchen.

    Learn to care for your knife
    Learn to work safely with your knife
    Learn what knives are best for different jobs

Chef will present different cutting techniques that will be incorporated into recipes he will provide and prepare with you. You will then enjoy the fruits of your labour with a 3 course meal.

Southern Citrus Jicama Slaw – Purple and Green Cabbage, Apple and Spicy Toasted Sunflower Seeds, Creamy Almond Dressing, Basil
    Smoky Molasses Baked Beans
    Fire Roasted Jalapeno Salsa
    Three Pepper Corn Fritters
    Avocado Rose with Lemon Herb Cashew Cream
    Seasonal Fool –  local fruit compote Chantilly Coconut Cream, Chia Tapioca

*Come hungry, a full meal will be served at the end of the evening

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate guests that do not eat nuts, corn, chia seeds, coconut milk, or flax
