Canadian Pacific Ballet will bring back to the stage their full-length ballet, Victoria & Albert, which celebrates the courtship and marriage of the queen after whom our city is named. It is one of the most celebrated love stories of the 19th century and leads the viewer into the rarefied world of court life in the 19th century. Dance style, costumes and scenery are all reflective of romantic style that was popular at the time Queen Victoria met Prince Albert. Victoria & Albert is choreographed and designed by co-Artistic Directors Roberta Taylor and Graham McMonagle. Music is by Sir Edward Elgar.
