The Burnside Gorge Community Association (BGCA) is hosting an
Olympic Recognition Event at Burnside Gorge Community Centre
Sunday February 21st 4:00-7:30pm.

Canada Cheer! is a free, family-oriented event offering local families a chance to celebrate the Olympics together. The event’s main attraction will be watching the men’s Canada vs. USA Olympic hockey game on a large screen. Other activities include a flag-making craft zone, a family play zone and a chill zone equipped with foosball, ping pong and a pool table. Hot dogs, pizza, snacks and refreshments will be for sale. All proceeds from food sales will go into Burnside Gorge’s Active Families Fund, providing new recreation opportunities for low-income families.
