Bollywood Dance Workshop

Come get a taste of the newest way to keep fit and have fun with our guest instructor, Raji Basi. Born in the Punjab state of India and currently residing in Victoria, Raji taught herself to dance watching Bollywood films as she was growing up.
Raji's passions are choreographing and dancing to Punjabi/Hindi songs, which she has performed in many local variety shows and on TV. She has also taught children and adults in Victoria and throughout Vancouver Island.
This workshop will introduce both the slower and more elegant Bollywood style, as well as the faster paced and exciting Bhangra style. You will learn a short dance routine in both styles.
