We will hold dance workshops & a hafla at the studio in April. Please join us!

~ Bend and Sway ~ Belly Dance with Leah ~ on Denman Island

Leah will break down the techniques for the back bends and long stretchy moves. She will also work with the famous piece of music... When she begins to bend and sway. Leah has a peaceful manner that comes through in her teaching style which is lots of watch and follow.

All welcome on Saturday! Some belly dance experience is suggested for Sunday.
We will also host a potluck dinner and a Hafla on the Saturday night!

Cost: 1) 78.75$ fee for both Saturday & Sunday - 5 hour workshop ($75 + $3.75 GST), or 2) 47.25$ fee for Saturday 3 hour workshop ($45 + $2.25 GST);
or 3) 31.50$ fee for Sunday 2 hour workshop ($30 + $1.50 GST);

More about Leah ....Leah studied classical ballet from age 5 to 16 and then began studying belly dance at the age of 18. That puts 15 years of bellydancing under her sparkly belt! Leah also, currently collaborates with the Vancouver based world fusion group Tambura Rasa, and has toured with them extensively over the past two years. She has even danced on the Main Stage at International Belly dance Conference in Toronto in 2008.
