Whiting Tennis presently lives and makes art and music in Seattle. His work includes drawing, painting and sculpture. He has had several solo exhibitions at the Greg Kucera Gallery in Seattle and the Derek Eller Gallery in New York. His work was also included in the Northwest Art Awards at the Portland Museum of Art in 2007. He received his BFA from the University of Washington and did independent study with Jacob Lawrence.
