A Recipe for a perfect evening: A SENSORY EXPERIENCE: Lovingly prepared dinner entrees and sushi in the exciting new Lounge at Acme, and Anna Acevedo Lyman singing the most beloved romantic tunes ever. Anna will set the stage for your Unforgettable Romantic Evening, singing romantic favourites to light up your special evening. You and your special Valentine will bask in the glow of this wonderful evening for weeks to come!

Anna has a B.A. in Vocal performance, but more importantly, she is a Romantic herself and has a deep devotion to romantic music that will be apparent from the first note.

You are sure to hear music you will love! Anna and her Trio, Steve Sutton, on Double Bass, and Darcy Phillips on piano (also plays with Jann Arden), will help inspire your special evening. Romantic Ballads of different genres, from world music to Swing tunes will be yours. Hand percussion will be added to the Latin Music, sung in Spanish and Portuguese.

BIO
Anna Acevedo Lyman is a Recording Artist, Voice Instructor and Songwriter and was born in Motown (Detroit!) to a Latinamerican Father and a Scotch-Irish Mother. Early in life she was exposed to a variety of music genres, including Brazilian Bossa, Cuban music, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Johnny Mathis and many more wonderful Artists. Her own compositions are a synthesis of the many styles she has absorbed in her musical life. Anna receives radio airplay in the US, and Canada, and has performed at the Victoria International Jazz Festival, the Pender Harbour Jazzfest, and more. Anna has performed at Hermann's Jazz Club, Vista 18 in Victoria, EXPO, the world's fair, and much more!
