African Xylophone from Burkina Faso Sat. 10 am-Noon - $40 Music from the cultural cross-roads! Burkina Faso is a small West African country located on the caravan routes. You will learn to play balafon in the unique style of the legendary group Farafina!

Rocking the Bass DrumsSat. 1-3 pm - $40 Learn funky bass beats! The three wooden bass drums each have their own voice and role in the rhythm. Together they combine simple patterns to create a powerful, dynamic sound. This music will ENERGIZE you!!

Drum Improv SkillsSat. 3-4:30 pm - $29 How to look and sound good on your drum! Everyone wants to feel confident playing on their drum - this special workshop will give you insider tips on how to play well in any situation. Exercises for speed, soloing ideas, and how to play djembe with different styles of music! Beginners are welcome and instruments are provided.
