What does a snake, good food and great entertainment have in common? Come find out as we celebrate Chinese New Year (and the Year of the Snake) at the Victoria Conservatory of Music’s “A Harmonious Celebration” on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 2:30 pm.

This free event will feature:

- VCM students and faculty
- Chinese Lion Dance – Wong Sheung Kung Fu Club
- Victoria Chinatown Lions Club Chinese Costume Show
- Victoria Chinese Culture Club Dancers
- Victoria Good News Choir – Louise Rose, music director
- Master of Ceremony – Alan Lowe, former Victoria Mayor

Enjoy a traditional lion dance, exquisite Chinese costume fashion show, Chinese dancing and music. This spectacular and colourful event will prove to be a celebration you won’t want to miss!
