Pippa will unpack the social and neurological roots of the prevalent debilitating condition of anxiety, and outline why it is so important to understand self-regulation in the context of acquiring knowledge and life skills in youth. This phenomenon is not only relevant to children; it has a far reaching impact throughout the lives of our fellow citizens. Knowing how to recognise anxiety, and support the person in learning effective self-regulation strategies early on, not only helps us to prevent our children becoming a part of this national statistic, but supports our greater community as a whole. ”
