Prom Closet Nanaimo: Prom Closet Nanaimo strives to ensure that every graduating girl or guy has formal wear for their Prom for all schools in the mid-Vancouver Island area. In order to reduce the stress caused by the expense and financial burden of these clothes, all dresses and suits are offered free of charge. It is our goal that this special time be a positive experience for the students and for their families.
Donations of gently used gowns and tuxedos are appreciated. Volunteers meet though the year to update and maintain the inventory. The main event is in the early spring and is a "Boutique Event" where students can enjoy selecting their formal wear.
