Why is this man wearing a pink shirt?

Maybe he's gearing up to celebrate International Women's Day. Perhaps he recently read that men who wear pink tend to earn more than men who don't. True, by the way.

Or maybe he just likes pink.

The truth is that we just don't know him and, like all of us, he needs to live without fear of being teased, threatened...or worse. Bullying is a serious problem in our schools, workplaces and communities, and Pink Shirt Day is one way for us to demonstrate our commitment against it.

Statistically, men who wear pink are also more assertive, confident and willing to take risks.

That's exactly what we all need to be to prevent bullies from thriving.

Be a pink shirt wearer.
