While they're singing "Baby It's Cold Outside..."
...we're singing "Let it Blow, Let it Blow, Let it Blow."
Although it may not be white, and we probably won't have snowflakes that stay on our nose and eyelashes, there's a whole lot to love about a Cascadian winter. What's the Sound of West Coast Music? Well...it goes something like this:
Deep and dark forests and misty wet mornings. The smell of the sea and the sound of the foghorns. Mosses that glow with the fresh green of spring....these are a few of my favourite things.
When the rains fall, when the gales blow, when I'm feeling sad...I put on my wetsuit and head for the beach.
And then I don't feel so bad.
